The Autumn 2011 issue of The Trend in Engineering has published the article "A Global Hub for Neural Engineering" that describes the mission and research of the CSNE.

MIT CSNE faculty member Hugh Herr is interviewed on NPR about his research in a story titled "The Double Amputee Who Designs Better Limbs."

CSNE faculty members Raj Rao and Shwetak Patel were recently in the news for their work.  Dr. Rao was profiled in the IEEE Institute about his work using computational modeling and statistical analysis to study ancient artifacts.

The IEEE Spectrum published an article on July 21, 2011, about the creation of the Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering.
