Grant Opportunities

Two new grant opportunities for UW CSNE personnel:

1.  Burroughs Welcome Fund - to foster development of physician-scientists early in their careers.  Pre-proposals must be submitted to the UW Office of Research by Friday, August 19, 2011. Full proposals are due to the sponsor on October 3, 2011. 

2. University of Washington Royalty Research Fund - "Proposals must demonstrate a high probability of generating important new creative activities or scholarly understandings, new scholarly materials or resources, significant data or information, or essential instrumentation resources that are likely to significantly advance the reputation of the university, lead to external funding, or lead to developing a new technology."  Proposals are due on Monday, September 26, 2011.
