CSNE Hackathon: Final Project Presentations

The Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering (CSNE) Hackathon is an annual, extended weekend-long event for students from the University of Washington and from CSNE-affiliated programs and partner institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, San Diego State University, Morehouse College and Spelman College. Students compete at the event to create novel technologies within a 36-hour timeframe, which are aimed at addressing sensorimotor neural engineering problems. Student teams may also develop educational outreach tools to inspire the next generation of neural engineers. Prototypes the students create address health issues such as spinal cord injury, stroke and other neurological disorders. The Hackathon will be held at the CSNE in Seattle, Washington, April 6-9, 2018, with final projects being presented to a panel of industry and academic judges and awards given out Monday, April 9. The final project presentations are open to the public and will be held April 9 from 9am—Noon at the CSNE.
